What was your priority when creating your nursery space? 

I really just wanted to create a space that was calming and full of light.  A space that she could grow into and that reflected my personal style while still meeting her needs.

 

What is your favourite piece?

My favorite piece is probably the rocking chair we got from Rove Concepts.  I feel like it sets the tone for the room and has gotten a lot of use over the months!

 

How do you create the perfect sleeping environment for your child?

All of my children sleep the best in a very dark room, so while the nursery is very light and airy during the day, each of their rooms have blackout shades that really take out all of the light for naps and bedtime.  Quincy also sleeps with a white noise machine that helps drown out the chaos that is often happening outside her door from her brother and sister.

Are there any aspects of your nursery you would change in hindsight?

Maybe get a few fake succulents for her shelves instead of all real ones since I can't seem to keep them all alive ;)  Other than that, there is really nothing I'd change.  We love it.
